This guide is a new tool. It provides information on Green Tourism in Swedish Lapland by presenting 25 small scale nature-based tourist companies we have met and interviewed for you, having the same love of the area, the same willingness to protect it and to share their knowledge and passion with the visitor. Here you can find information about their activities and their choices regarding the environment and the way to welcome people. In this way, this guide supports the tourist companies which contribute to maintaining and interpreting the natural and cultural heritage of the area. It will help you to select one or several of them according to the place you want to go (on each sheet, you find a figure identifying the company, in order to find it on the map) or the specific activities you want to do. This will give you the chance to discover the best of Lapland’s nature in ways which are kind to the environment.
