Hello
out there !
Here is
our first newsletter
from Ness.
When we started this schoolyear, we
had plans about a newsletter from us every month. As you have observed this
haven't been done.
But we will try to improve in 2001,
so here's the January edition.
When we look outside today,
29.January, we can see the ground
covered with about 10cm. of white snow. But this winter has been an odd winter.
We have had fine weather all time, but no snow. Luckily there has been some cold
degrees in January so we can go skating.
Parents have made ice on our
football-field so many pupils are skating in school-time. And last Thursday the
oldest children in Kindergarten and all of the pupils and teachers in school
left the school and went for skating on a lake near by. We had a top-day with
nice weather. We played on the ice for hours and when we had to take a break we
ate grilled sausages. Here you can take a look at some pictures from our
skating-day. If you are patient you will find more pictures on our web-page.

Yesterday we officially started this
year's theatre-project. on 29. Of March we will have the first performance of
"Snowwhite and the seven dwarfs". All our children will in some or
other way participate in this play. All the pupils in 5., 6. and 7.class are
actors, 2., 3. and 4.class are choirs and 1.class are playing animals in one of
the scenes in the play. In the next newsletter I'll give you a progress report.
Live well all of you!
Greetings from Ness in Norway.
