Hello everyone and greetings from all of us at Sem school!

Would you like to read about the sea serpent in Snåsavatnet?

Here are our latest photos (earlier ones are lower down the page)

The Norwegian Championship in cross-country skiing was hold in Steinkjer. We dressed out and tried to cheer up the skiers.

Our favourite skier Thomas Aalsgård finished at second place, so we were a bit disappointed that he did not win the gold medal. But we had a great time and
the horse "Jakob" was shown on the Norwegian television.

Here you can see the final result of our "lavo".

Here we intend to cook meals, sing campfire songs and have different other activities connected to the subjects we have.

The snow has arrived !

sixth grade from Sem school Here you can see the sixth grade from Sem school.  We are standing at the top of our jumping hill and we are just waiting for the snow , so we can go for the length record.

Behind us you can see our school. The number of pupils are 56, 7 teachers, our headmaster, one caretaker and two lovely ladies that have to clean after us when we are messing around.

Our school is the neighbour to the sixth biggest lake in Norway, called "Snåsavatnet".  We also have a scary monster like "Nessie" in this lake. If you want to know more, we will give you more information later.

On the picture you can also see what's typical for the landscape in Følling.

we have tied flies for fishing after salmon Here we have tied flies for fishing after salmon.

The nearest river, called "Byaelva", is about 15 min. drive from the school. There we can fish after salmon and sea trout with our teacher. His name is Roger and he is very kind.

Trying to fish after salmon. But it was not a success this time.
We think the weather was to blame (always an explanation for not getting any fish!).
